Meira T has always been a creative force in her family life professional and social life. As a teenager she served as clothing buyer for her family’s retail stores in Germany. Meira learned the diamond business in Israel in her early twenties. Meira soon moved to Belgium with her husband to further her diamond education. Meira moved to New York in the early 1970′s were she designed a full line of children’s sweaters. Meira’s sweaters were sold primarily in New York in many Madison Avenue Boutiques and Major Children’s Departments Stores. Eventually Meira returned to her original calling; Diamonds and Jewelry. Meira began designing for IDI in the early 1990′s. With time Meira has developed a line that is sold in major jewelry stores throughout the world. Meira T gets her inspiration from her European and Middle Eastern background. These inspirations are clear in all her designs. The Meira T collection has a unique flair that speaks a combination of creativity and fashion creativity. Meira prides herself on designing jewelry that the independent women will and can want to buy for themselves. Sophistication, elegance and price are what drive Meira’s collections.
