History

Shellé Jewelers, Inc. was founded in 1951 by the late Sheldon M. Millman whose love for jewelry was based on quality, integrity, value and service. His dream was to have the finest and most knowledgeable master craftsman work at Shellé Jewelers, Inc. With his son Manuel S. Millman and grandson Brian A. Millman, the dream is alive with the continuing tradition of integrity, superior customer service and unsurpassed workmanship.
Shellé Jewelers, Inc. started at 5 South Wabash and moved to 840 N. Michigan Avenue in 1972. The move made a real impact with the prestigious address. In 1987, the building was going to be torn down to make a 40-story building and we moved to 666 Vernon Avenue in Glencoe, IL. We stayed there until May of 2006 when Shellé Jewelers, Inc. decided to move to a free standing build at 322 Skokie Blvd in Northbrook, IL. This was the best thing that has happened to the company and gave real exposure on a tremendously busy street.
At Shellé Jewelers, Inc. we strive to go beyond offering an exceptional variety of fine jewelry, unique timepieces and custom handcrafted designs. Shellé Jewelers, Inc. has on premise a certified appraiser, a graduate gemologist, master jeweler, certified watchmaker and a knowledgeable sales staff with whom you can entrust your jewelry needs. We aim to exceed your expectations with unsurpassed service, workmanship and professionalism.
